Amicorum Spectaculum

In 2017 a magical gathering of the People of Tomorrow took place during 2 weekends.

On July 21-22-23 and July 28-29-30 more than 400.000 friends discovered “Amicorum Spectaculum”. A show that is seldom seen, a gathering of talents that left us in wonder.

Taking part on the other side of the stage at one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world has been stunning as Tomorrowland became the home of the EDM fantasy playground. Amicorum is a Latin word close to the meaning of “gathering of friends”.

This theme gave rise to breathtaking scenery around the theatre and show in old tones, such as the main-stage which represented a large circus tent. Jugglers, acrobats, dancers, and many other artists were at the rendezvous, and the extent of the material used that I could observe from backstage was impressive.

The festival had no fewer than 16 stages that are as grandiose and unique as each other, and its own small town ‘Dreamville” designed to accommodate campers. There are lots of stalls and activities on offer, and one thing is for sure, we had no time to get bored !
