Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt like time was running faster than me. I was mostly drawn to two things : art and the present moment. Though, I didn’t yet understand how deeply connected they truly are, until the day I discovered photography.
My first camera was a heartening revelation for me, I finally had the ability to put all the words that I couldn't find inside myself into images. That’s when I realized what photography truly meant to me. Beyond being an artistic expression, it was intended to immortalize the moment. A present already gone, yet one that truly existed.
It was my way of telling a story by making "time" my most faithful friend.
Thus, I’m grateful I can genuinely say that this Confucian proverb : "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" truly reflects my mindset every day.
